DOWNLOADA new test build for Windows 10 Insider Preview build 18329, version 1903 (19H1), is available for Windows Insider members with update priority Early Access and Skip Ahead.
Windows 10 Insider Preview build 18329.1 (19h1_release) is a new build of Windows 10 (version 1903), which is available to members of the Windows Insider program with the priority of receiving Early Access and Skip Ahead updates.
This assembly belongs to the development branch 19H1_RELEASE of the next major update Windows 10 19H1, which is expected in spring (March-April) of 2019.
New in Windows 10 build 18329 (version 1903)
Presents an improved search for installed applications. Now when you open the Search Home pop-up window, you will see a list of frequently used applications. This change was applied on the server side, so insiders can get it without updating the assembly.
Microsoft has added the ability to run classic Win32 applications in a mixed reality environment. Windows Store apps have long been supported, but now you can run any Windows app in a mixed reality environment. Call the panel with pinned objects, go to all applications, select the folder for classic applications marked “beta” and select your application.
The assembly adds support for keyboard layouts for the languages ADLaM and Osage. The first language is used by the Fulani peoples in West Africa, and the second language is spoken by representatives of the Indian tribe Osage from Oklahoma.
Improved support for dark mode in the built-in Mail and Calendar applications. Dark mode is used when writing a letter, updating calendar entries or when reading email. If you want to view the message in light mode, use the button with the sun icon on the toolbar. In addition, users can now set the default font that will be used when writing an e-mail or when replying to an incoming email.
As usual, the pre-build at this stage of testing does not receive new features, but includes a long list of known bugs and fixes. A full list of improvements, changes and known bugs is available in the official announcement on the Microsoft website.
Installation via Windows Update
Go to Settings > Update and Security and click Check for Updates. To complete the installation, you will need to restart the computer.
Creating ISO image
If you want to perform a clean installation of Windows 10 Insider Preview build 18329, then using the WZT-UUP service, you can download UUP files directly from the official Microsoft servers and automatically create a bootable ISO image using the following instructions:
Download the generated archive, unpack and run the file creatingISO.cmd.
Since this is a command line script, the Windows Defender SmartScreen filter will show a warning before starting – “Windows has protected your computer.” Click “Read More” and execute “Run anyway“. For security, you can always analyze the contents of the script manually before launching it.
Wait for the automatic downloading of UUP packages from official Microsoft servers and the creation of a bootable ISO image version 18329.
