A new test build is available for Windows 10 Insider Preview build 18342, version 1903 (19H1), intended for members of the Windows Insider program with update priority Early Access.
Windows 10 Insider Preview build 18342.1 (19h1_release) is a new build of Windows 10 (version 1903), which is available to members of the Windows Insider program with the priority of receiving updates Early Access.
This assembly belongs to the development branch 19H1_RELEASE of the next major update Windows 10 19H1, which is expected in spring (March-April) of 2019.
The Microsoft team is approaching the final stage of the 19H1 development cycle, when the main forces of developers will be thrown at fixing known errors and improving the stability of the new version.
Important information – not all will receive the assembly
Computers with the following processor model numbers will not receive this assembly due to a connection problem in sleep mode: Intel64 Family 6 Model 142 and Intel64 Family 6 Model 158. To check if your processor falls into these two segments:
Open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start button on the taskbar.
Open the Processors group and right-click on one of the listed processors (you will see several for each processor core on your PC).
Click “Properties” and go to the “Details” tab.
Select “Equipment ID” in the “Property” drop-down list. The list will contain the model number of your processor.
New in Windows 10 build 18342 (version 1903)
Testing the installation of games from the Microsoft Store continues. Use the following instructions for installing the game “State of Decay: Year One”, which is offered for free. If you have already installed State of Decay in the previous build of Windows 10 (build 18334), developers are asked to reinstall the game.
Windows 10 users can access Linux subsystem files directly from Windows Explorer.

As usual, the pre-build at this stage of testing does not receive new features, but includes a long list of known bugs and fixes.

Installation via Windows Update
Go to Settings > Update and Security and click Check for Updates. To complete the installation, you will need to restart the computer.
Creating ISO image
If you want to perform a clean installation of Windows 10 Insider Preview build 18342, then using the WZT-UUP service, you can download UUP files directly from the official Microsoft servers and automatically create a bootable ISO image using the following instructions:
Download the generated archive, unpack and run the file creatingISO.cmd.
Since this is a command line script, the Windows Defender SmartScreen filter will show a warning before starting – “Windows has protected your computer.” Click “Read More” and execute “Run anyway“. For security, you can always analyze the contents of the script manually before launching it.
Wait for the automatic downloading of UUP packages from official Microsoft servers and the creation of a bootable ISO image version 18342.
Use the generated ISO to install the latest version of Windows 10 Insider Preview 18342.
