Update KB4468304 fixes a bug on HP computers and laptops that caused a BSOD crash when booting the system after upgrading to Windows 10 October 2018 Update (version 1809). Microsoft confirmed the problem on Friday night, and now the fix is already available for downloading from Windows Update or from the Microsoft Update Catalog site. The company claims that a similar problem is also observed in Windows 10 version 1803 (April 2018 Update), so the update will also be offered for the older version of Windows 10.
After installing the HP Keyboard driver version 220.127.116.11 via Update Center or manually, a critical WDF_VIOLATION error “Blue Screen Of Death” occurred on HP devices.
Recall that the reason for the emergency measure was the detection of a critical error, which led to data loss.
