On August 21, a new version of the Intel firmware update for devices running Windows 10 became available April 10, 2018 Update (version 1803). KB4100347 includes firmware updates for specific Intel processor models. Intel firmware updates are available for systems running Windows 10 April 2018 Update (version 1803) and Windows Server 2016 version 1803 (Server Core).

Since Intel publicly disclosed information about the vulnerabilities Spectre and Meltdown, Microsoft and Intel have jointly released several updates to prevent their exploitation. Users of devices with vulnerable processors are strongly advised to install a new patch.
