August 14, 2018, Microsoft released a cumulative update package KB4338826 for Windows 10 Creators Update (version 1703) as part of the monthly Tuesday patches. After the update, the build number of Windows 10 changes to 15063.1266.

Microsoft released the cumulative update KB4343885 for Windows 10 version 1703 (Creators Update) based on x86 and x64 processors.

Installation via Windows Update Center

Cumulative update KB4343885 for the PC is installed automatically through Windows Update. To verify, go to the Settings > Update and Security menu and click Check for Updates. To complete the installation, you will need to restart the computer. After the update, the build number of Windows 10 will be changed to 15063.1266.

Note. If you installed previous cumulative updates, it is enough to install a differential update this time, which includes only the latest changes. If you missed previous updates – you need to select the full cumulative update package.

This update includes quality updates. New functions of the system are not presented. List of key fixes and improvements:

Provides protections against a new speculative execution side-channel vulnerability known as L1 Terminal Fault (L1TF) that affects Intel® Core® processors and Intel® Xeon® processors (CVE-2018-3620 and CVE-2018-3646). Make sure previous OS protections against Specter Variant 2 and Meltdown vulnerabilities are enabled using the registry settings. (These registry settings are enabled by default for Windows Client OS editions.)

Addresses an issue that causes Internet Explorer to stop working for certain websites.
Updates support for the draft version of the Token Binding protocol v0.16.
Addresses an issue that causes Device Guard to block some ieframe.dll class IDs after installing the May 2018 Cumulative Update.
Ensures that Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge support the preload = “none” tag.

If you installed previous updates, this time only the new changes in the composition of the cumulative package will be applied.
